TEN YEARS. AND IT PASSED IN A BLUR.
AS a way of giving back, the husband and wife team of Doc Rob Walcher, a chiropractor and Patricia Javier, an actress met with the media people who, in one way or another have been part of their mission all these years.
There were three important things they wanted to achieve for the presscon.
“Pasasalamat sa inyong lahat at sa mga pasyente ng Doc Rob Wellness Clinic. Dahil 10 years na po kami dito sa Philippines.
“Nung una, bago kami finally mag-decide na dito na tumira, ten years nga ang naaalala ng asawa ko na sinabi niya sa mga kamag-anak at kaibigan namin na ibibigay niya with his chiropractic practice sa bansa. Kaya ganon na lang ang taos-pusong pasasalamat namin sa naging pagtangkilik sa amin ng mga tao.”
“Pasasalamat din sa 8 years sa mga basher namin na walang sawang intrigahin kami, sabihan ng kung anu-ano at pilit na idina-down mula ng itinayo namin ang Doc Rob and Associates Chiropractic Vitality Wellness Clinic.”
“8 years kaming nanahimik kahit below the belt na ang mga panlalait at pangda-down sa profession ng Asawa ko na si Dr Rob. Dahil ang aming purpose dito sa lupa or kung saan man kami mapunta ay pagtulong sa kapwa. ‘Yan ang gusto naming i-share sa mga tao. Hindi namin ugali ang manira ng ibang professions para lang i-promote ang aming business. Ang dami’ng kinu-kwestiyon sa amin.”
“Ang palaging batikos sa amin ay wala kaming license to operate ng Chiro here kase hindi kami sakop ng PRC (Professional Regulation Commission).
“Kasi po, ang PITAHC (Philippines Institute of Traditional Alternative Health Care) under the umbrella of DOH ang may sakop sa amin. At ako po mismo yearly ang naglalakad ng lahat ng permits para kami ay maging legal dito sa Pilipinas. Gusto ko pong bigyan nyo ng diin sa mga ilalabas niyong write up sa amin ang pagiging safe at licensed kaming mag tayo ng wellness clinic dito sa Philippines.”
“We have launches our products to the market and they can buy our products to Heyday and soon sa Watsons and Mercury drugstores.”
“We like to do charity missions. The reason why Doc Rob founded the Share Your Blessings Foundation Inc. in collaboration with Noble Queen of the Universe LTD, where I am the Chairwoman and Anna Villanueva is the President.”
“Kaya po portion of our profits always go to our foundation. So we can continue our programs gaya ng Livelihood, Education, Housing, Feeding program, Planting trees and Saving our environment.”
“All our patients and the people who buy our products and who avail our services are now part of our giving back to the different community services programs. Hindi lang sarili nila ang natutulungan ng services at products namin kundi pati na rin our communities.”
“I hope people will continue to support us to spread the good words of our purpose here. Kaya we are ever so thankful po. Pinatotohanan na ng PITAHC, na Doc Rob is no quack doctor! Sabi ko nga, baka ipinagpatayo ko pa ng monumento ang bashers namin kasi tinulungan din nila kami in a way. Dahil lumalabas ang katotohanan.”
Some of our local celebrities have been visiting Doc Rob’s chiro clinic all those ten years. Gaya nina Martin Nievera, Coco Martin, Cherry Pie Picache, Ara Mina, Malu Barry, people in sports, people in the government, people from all walks of life!
Hindi magtatagal, malamang na sumunod na sa yapak ni Doc Rob ang kanilang panganay na si Robert IV.
Naging household name na si Doc Rob pagdating sa spine alignment among other things na may kinalaman sa magandang kalusugan.
Kaya hindi nakapagtataka na marami ang mainggit sa narating ng banyaga’ng nagkaroon ng puso para sa Pinoy dahil sa suporta ng kanyang maybahay.
